Physicians for Social Responsibility is the largest physician-led organization in the country working to address nuclear proliferation, climate change, and toxic degradation of the environment, all of which constitute the gravest threats to human health and survival.

In honor of PSR’s 50th anniversary, we are sponsoring an art contest that will celebrate the accomplishments of the many physicians and concerned citizens who have worked to advance PSR’s mission over the years.

Entries will reflect the history of PSR, our core issues in bringing about a healthier, more just and peaceful world. The winning entry(ies) will appear on PSR’s website and be featured on promotional items that will be available for purchase.

Potential themes include: the history of PSR; peace themes; anti-nuclear weapon themes; issues around climate change and environment; PSR’s 50th Anniversary; any other theme which reflects PSR’s mission and work

Original artwork should be 11” x 17”, either vector-based (such as an Adobe Illustrator file) or at least 300dpi if a raster file (such as an Adobe Photoshop file). For submission purposes, reduce your artwork to no more than 5MB. If your entry wins, we will ask for the larger file.

Eligibility

This contest is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia, and Canada who are at least 18 years old as of the date of entry.

Prize

There will be three (3) winners. Winning submissions, along with the creator’s name, will be featured on www.psr.org.

Prizes to be awarded are:

First Prize: $1500
Second Prize: $750
Third Prize: $500
