The Web Font Awards is the first ceremony to celebrate the newfound typographic freedom that Web designers are experiencing across the globe. Aimed at promoting Web font awareness and adoption, the Web Font Awards is open to eligible users of any Web font service or technology that uses an @font-face declaration.

If you’ve designed a website that uses Web fonts, enter the Web Font Awards for your shot at bragging rights, publicity, and cash and prizes.

The competition culminates with a live award ceremony at the Future of Web Design conference, to be held Nov. 15 – 17 in New York City. Here, a panel of judges will debate the merits of each nominated website and determine the winners. You do not have to attend the Future of Web Design conference for your website to be selected as a winning entry.

Eligibility

You are eligible to enter this contest only if you meet all of the following requirements at time of entry:

* You are a professional or a hobbyist in the field of web design
* You are 18 years of age or older
* You are NOT a resident of any of the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria (as U.S. export regulations prohibit the export of goods and services to these countries)

Prize

* $3,000 (U.S.)
* Twenty user license for the Monotype® Library, Linotype® Originals and ITC® Library font collections
* One year Professional subscription to the Fonts.com Web Fonts service.
* One 32GB Apple® iPad® mobile digital device with Wi-Fi
